Pumpkin Patch

I created this card using the sketch at Just Us Girls.  They have a different challenge each week and this week it is a sketch challenge.
The colors I used are pumpkin pie, old olive, and basic black.  The stamp set is pumpkin patch.
Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment,

Pumpkin Patch?

Yes, this card was made with the stamp set called Pumpkin Patch! Isn't it cute and sparkly? I cased this card from Jill Hilliard (again). She is so creative. I am learning so much from recreating her work.
Who would have ever thought of turning pumpkin stamps into ornaments. Apparently, Jill would. The lines on the pumpkins make adding glitter a snap. I just ran my glue pen down every other stripe and then added glitter. For the oval pumpkin/ornament, I just dabbed the glue on in spots using the glue pen. My friend Angela, actually took the time to cover each tiny dot with glue before adding her glitter. I like hers a lot better than mine.
This card was soooo easy to make. I think it will be one of my stamp-a-stack cards next month. It just looks so festive and, glitter always makes things just a little better, don't you think?

Pumpkin Patch, Look #3

Here is another example of what you can do with the stamp set, Pumpkin Patch. You can turn the pumpkins into balloons and make a birthday card. I love these colors together! They are real red, melon mambo, and crushed curry. How can you look at these colors together and not think happiness and good times. My friend, Angela and I had a good time yesterday making cards together. I was at her house for almost 4 hours yesterday, and we only got two cards apiece made. But, we had a good time making those two cards and that is what matters! I might could have made more if I had stayed home alone, but I wouldn't have had near as much fun!! That's what Stampin' Up is all about!
Everything used on this card except the rick rack is SU!, and the dsp is Pink Flamigo (113976). I at first thought I wouldn't like particular designer paper, but once I saw it in person it became one of my favorites!
Well, I am off to create something (and watch Survivor). I'll be back tomorrow with yet another way in which to use the stamp set Pumpkin Patch. (Hint: Christmas)
