$1 Michael's Frame

This is a $1 unfinished wooden frame that I bought at Michaels. First I painted it with gesso, and then I painted it with acrylic in the shade of burnt umber.











The flower was made from two paper doilies that I bought at the Dollar Tree. I antiqued them using a technique I learned from my friend Lisa. She has a video tutorial that shows how to make them.













After painting the frame I stamped it in versamark ink using the Baroque Motifs stamp set. I then sprinkle clear embossing powder over it and heat set it.
Over all it didn't turn out too bad for a first attempt.
