Too Cute

As I mentioned before, here is another scrapbook page featuring my niece, Addi. Please ignore the glare on the middle picture.

I used the designer paper, Autumn Spice, and the stamp sets, Day of Gratitude and Elements of Style. I stamped the medallion in old olive and cajun craze using the rock and roll technique, and put an antique brad in the middle.

Don't forget tomorrow (Nov. 30th) is the last day to sign up as a demonstrator for the low price of $87.50. It is also the last day of the Online Spectacular sales event.

Happy Baby!

It has been a long time since I posted.  I have been going through some difficult times the last two weeks, but things are getting better.  I have really missed crafting.  Keep me in your prayers.  I have fibromylagia  and chronic fatigue syndrome and sometimes these conditions try to get the better of me along with depression and anxiety,  BUT I can do all things in Christ, and I will get through this difficult time.
Below is a scrapbook page I made awhile back of my great niece.  Just looking at her picture makes me happy.  I took her to the park one day and got a lot of really cute pictures so expect to see more of them.  She was so happy and funny that day.  We had a great afternoon!

Blog Candy Winner and a Teeny, Tiny Tutorial

The winner of the mini album that I showcased during the blog hop is Marisol Gutierrez! Marisol email me your mailing address, and I will get the album in the mail to you ASAP.
I promised to show you how I changed my whisper white satin ribbon to a pacific point ribbon. It is very easy. All you need is an ink pad, a sponge and the ribbon you want to dye. Place the ribbon on the ink pad and hold it down with the sponge in one hand while pulling the ribbon through with the other. Dye both sides of the ribbon this way, BUTonce you have it the color you want it let it dry before attaching it to your project. It may not feel wet, but it is. I found out the hard way. I attached my ribbon to my card as soon as I colored it and by the next morning it had bled into my card. So let your ribbon dry before attaching it to anything.

Royal Blog Tour

Hello and welcome to my castle. I would like to introduce you to the stamp set, Party Hearty.  I chose this stamp set, because it is a very versitale group of stamps.
To show you some of the things you can do with Party Hearty, I created a paper bag album using the mini lunch sacks in the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I simply left them flat and bound them at the ends.  Also because the sacks are brown, I used white paint and painted all of their edges brown.
For the cover, I used the pieces of  chipboard that came with the lunch sacks, and covered them with card stock and designer paper.
I used the designer paper, Celebrations, to decorate the album, and I used the cupcake image from Party Hearty, as the main focal point on the cover.  It is hard to tell in the picture, but the icing in the cupcake is covered with glitter.
Below you can see the inside of the album.
The banner on the first page was created using the party hat stamp.  I simply cut them out and turned them upside down.

The red circles on these two pages are the inside circle on the b is for birthday stamp.  I used a real red marker to ink up just the circle and then cut it out with the 3/4 inch circle punch.

Below are  the tags I made to go inside the paper bags.  You can use them for more pictures and/or for journaling.
Notice the blue ribbon on the red tag.  Stampin' Up doesn't make that color ribbon, but they do make white ones.  Come back onTuesday the 9th, and I will show you how I changed the ribbon from white to pacific point.

Blog Candy!!!!!!

I am offering up this album as blog candy!  All you have to do is email me your name and email address and leave me a comment below.  I will let you know on Tuesday who the winner is.
Thanks for visiting my castle and enjoy the rest of the tour.
