Snow Day

I had the privilege of attending a scrapbook retreat last weekend and these are some of the pages I completed.  It is a little hard to tell from the photo, but the first thing I did was ink the edges of the cardstock with whisper white ink.  Next, I stamped the trees at the bottom of the page using a stamp from the set, Lovely as a Tree. (I got this idea from Erika Martin)

Here is a close-up of the stamping on one of the pages.

I like how stamps can make a plain piece of cardstock into something special and unique.  If you notice I didn't use any designer paper, just cardstock.
I'll be posting more scrapbook pages in the next few days so be sure and stop back by.
Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment,

  1. That is a cute scrap page. I like how you did the trees, and I do agree with being able to use stamps to turn a plane paper into a work of art. TFS!

  2. Great scrapbook page. I wish we had a little snow in So Cal so I could do a snow page.

  3. Great page. Perfect for all this snow. I am going to try to scrapbook more and post some pages. You give me inspiration!

  4. Great layout...the snow is always so much fun and this really captures the day's moments...tfs :)
