Home

This is a page I made for the scripture challenge at Triple the Scraps.  I used the Mojo Monday sketch to make this page (instead of using the sketch  to make a card.)
I used the designer paper pack, Cottage Wall.  I love the rich colors in it.
I am a couple of words behind in the scripture challenge so I'll be trying to catch up this week.

Clean and Simple

This is a very clean and simple 8x8 scrapbook page that my club made this month.  I used the stamp set Abundant Hope which can only be purchased until March 31st.
Daffodils are my favorite flower so when I saw this stamp set in the occasions mini I knew I would have to get it.
I experimented stamping it a few different ways, and I decided I like stamping it in basic black ink and then coloring it in the best.

Easter Tag

This is a tag that my club is making this month.  I thought we would do something a little different and make a tag instead of a card.  It can be used as a card.  It can be added to a gift, or it can be put on a scrapbook page.  Making it was quite fun, and we may be making more of them in the future.

Crazy 4 Challenges 30

For this card for the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, I decided to break out my brocade blue paper.  To give the card the appearance of texture, I stamped it with brocade blue with my stamp called Sanded.  Doesn't it look just like I took sand paper to it?  It's a really cool stamp.
My flower this time is made with the wing on the 2 step bird punch which is available in the occasions mini until March 31st.
The shiny stuff on the flower is again champagne mist shimmer paint, the same paint I used on my last card.  I really like the shimmer paints, and you can get them in three different colors.
The sentiment on my card is from the stamp set, Trendy Trees.

Stamping 411 Challenge 144

For this Stamping 411 card I used one of my last pieces of the Sending Love specialty paper.  I loooove this paper.
I don't know who to give credit to for being the original creator of this flower, but I know if you go to Dawn's Stamping Thoughts, she has an excellent video showing how to make it.  It is made with seven layers of  card stock, and is super easy to make.  If I can make it anyone can!
The shiny stuff on the petal tips is champagne mist shimmer paint.  It goes great with this designer paper and just adds a little something to the flower.
Be sure to stop by tomorrow for another challenge card, and thanks for stopping by!!!

Splitcoast Stampers' challenge

This card is pretty clean and simple, but I love it.  I think I like it so much because of the background stamp, Sanded.  You can't mess it up!  I have wanted this stamp for quite a while and just recently got around to getting it.
I used 10 layers of designer paper punched with the scalloped circle punch to make the flower.  I spritzed each layer with water and then crumple it.  After that I flattened each layer out and attached together with a small brad.  I completely scrunched the center layer and then worked my way out to the bottom layer, scrunching each layer a little less than the one before it.
The designer paper is from the Sweet Pea pack and the sentiment stamp is from Define Your Life.

Challenges

Here is my card for this week's stamping 411 challenge, for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge,  and this week's OCC challenge.
It is hard to tell in the picture, but the large vanilla sheet is embossed, and I distressed the edges of the small vanilla piece with the flowers on it.

Stamping 411 Challenge 142

Here is my card for this week's Stamping 411 Challenge.  I really like the sketch this week.  It gave me an opportunity to use several different patterned papers.

Hopping Down the Bunny Trail

Isn't this card the cutest idea ever?  I didn't think it up of course.  I got the idea and directions from Jackie Topa.  Her is much better than mine.  I was just proud that I could actually make him.  If you haven't checked out Jackie's blog, you should.  She is very talented.

Scrapbook page of Addi

This is a page I made of my niece Addi.  I used the Sweet Pea designer paper.  The paper is so pretty I used very few embelleshiments.  I did cut out three butterflies with my big shot and added them to my page.

Stamping 411

This is my card for this week's Stamping 411 challenge.  I crimped the front of my card, and cut out flowers from the Garden Greetings stamp set.  This stamp set is not in the Idea Book and Catalog, but it is not retired.  It is on the dormant list which you can find here
I used old olive and rich razzleberry cardstock with a little strip of Cottage Wall designer paper.

CSAYL43

At Christmas Stamping All Year Long the challenge this week was to make a gift set out of a card purse.
I didn't make Christmas cards because if they are going to be a gift for Christmas, they need to be something other than Christmas cards.  So far I have made a Hello card and a Thanks card.  I will be adding at least two more.
I used the Cottage Wall designer paper.  I love this set of papers.  The cardstock is rich razzleberry and the ribbon is old olive.

Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge 111

Why my two pictures look like two different colors, I don't know.  Same camera.  Same software.  Oh, well.
This is my sample for the Techno Stamper sketch challenge 111.  I am a little slow with it, but here it is.
My card base is chocolate chip.  I scored it into a card before running it through my crimper, and I only crimped the front of the card.
The other colors are pretty in pink,  very vanilla and real red.
Thanks for stopping by.

Mr. and Mrs.

Here is a scrapbook page I made of my youngest nephew and his wife at their wedding last year.  Aren't they beautiful?
Their main color was turquoise, and then I threw in black and white because they are always wedding colors.
It is kind of hard to tell but the ribbon is old olive and matches the green in her flowers.

Stamping 411

Here is my card for this week's Stamping 411 challenge.  I used the colors night of navy, pumpkin pie, and very vanilla.   I crimped my very vanilla cardstock base.
It was a  very simple sketch this week, and I like clean and simple.
