Christmas Gifts

Here are some Christmas gifts I made this year.   I made sets of four coasters and a trivet and tied them up with retired riding hood red striped ribbon.

I forgot to take a picture of the coasters in the above picture, but I used the same stamp that I used on the trivet below.

Here you can see the 3/4" self-stick felt pads that I put on the bottom of the trivets.  I bought them in a pack of 20 in the hardware department at Walmart.
On the bottom of the coasters I put square pieces of felt that I cut from a full sheet on all four corners.

Here are the other three designs that I used on other coaster sets.  Two of them are stamps and one is a stencil.  One of the stamp sets is from Baroque Motifs (113490) and the other is from Elements of Style (1186111).  The stencil is from Elegant Trio Décor Stencils (118262).

The tiles are tumbled tiles that I got at Lowes.  I already had the stamps and stencils, so each gift set cost less than $3 each.
Well, thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment,
Patty Mickle

  5. Very nice! I love those and use mine for years and years! Sorry to hear you have fibro. I do also and it is very challenging at times. Great that you have the Lord and a husband to lean on in the difficult times. I am blessed in that way also.

  7. Your tiles are really nice! I can never find tumbled tiles that look this nice - they're always full of holes & cracks. :( Yours are so beautiful, it makes me want to go find some good ones and make some and HOPE they're as nice as yours! :)

  8. Love the tiles. I have some that are still waiting to be made. Maybe I'll do that for my Mom's B-Day that's coming up.

  9. I love your tiles. I too have some already waiting to be done. I just didn't know what kind of ink we should use. Did you put any kind of protective covering over the ink? Maybe I will get a head start toward next year!
