I have been dying to get my hands on some of the new fabric that Stampin' Up! now offers in the Holiday Mini Catalogue. The first assortment I ordered is the Deck the Halls bundle. You get three coordinating designs that are 28" x 18" each. You also get an instruction booklet that shows 5 projects you can create using fabric.
For my first project I chose to alter a composition notebook. (I stocked up on them when they were on sale for twenty-five cents each.)
Below, you can see that I covered the notebook in one of the fabrics and used another to tear a strip to use as a ribbon. I also used cardstock, Deck the Halls designer buttons, antique brads, and self-adhesive rhinestones.

I love Stampin' Up!s new fabric line. You can tell by touching it that it is a rich, good quality fabric. I can't wait to create more projects using it.
Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment,

ReplyDeleteVery Lovely Patti. Really like the way you've covered this notebook! TFS.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I have wanted to do this since I got the fabric in the sneak peek. How did you apply the fabric to the notebook?
ReplyDeleteThank you! I used beacon's fabric tac. I folded the fabric to the inside and glued along the edges. I then covered the inside covers with a piece of cardstock.
