The Late Night Stampers' challenge this week is to make a no layer card-- meaning you can only use one piece of card stock. I actually made two very, very similar cards and decided to show both of them. I made two because I forgot to use my embossing buddy on the first one and therefore had stray embossing powder in places I didn't want it.
I started with very vanilla card stock on which I stamped leaves in versamark ink using the French Foliage stamp set. After heat embossing the leaves and sentiment I sponged the entire card front with pumpkin pie ink.
This first card was the one I forgot to use the embossing buddy on. It turned out ok after all. I also intentionally sponged the ink on unevenly.

Here you can see how thin the card is with no layers.
I really enjoyed making this card. Just think how easy a card like this would be to mail with no layers to have to worry about.

Very pretty cards...this leaf stamp set is on my wish-list. Shows very well how a single layer still has dimension. TFS!
